Continuing Education Credits

AHEC: This program is approved for up to 0.9 CEU’s (9.75 clock hours) of continuing education by Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc. and meets the SC AHEC Best Practices Standards. Participants must attend 90% of the program in order to receive a certificate of attendance. No partial credit will be given.

 

CME: This activity is eligible for CME credit.

 

DIETICIANS: Up to 9.75 CPUS are available for dieticians after the completion of this program.

 

NURSING: Mid-Carolina AHEC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This nursing continuing education activity approval #1811-032PR-091 has been approved for up to 9.75 hours.

 

PHARMACY: This activity is eligible for ACPE credit; see final CPE activity announcement for specific details.

 

SOCIAL WORKERS: This program has been approved by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for up to 9.75 clock hours of social work and NON-social work continuing education.

CHES®/MCHES®: This program has been approved for 10.75 CECH and 8.25 Advanced CECH.  The event number is PM98022_06032021.  Due to COVID-19, all CECH are free in 2021. 

Claiming Credits

In order to claim credit for this event, participants must submit the evaluation survey. Links to the evaluation survey will be sent directly to participants via email. 

CME, Dieticians, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Workers

Participants will receive an email from (Katelyn Bailey or Rebecca Jackson from Mid-Carolina AHEC) at the conclusion of the conference with instructions on completing the evaluation and receiving credit.

CHES®/MCHES® Credits

In order to claim CHES/MCHES credit, complete the following steps: 

 

  1. Complete the evaluation survey

  2. Complete the CHES/MCHES participant form 

  3. Email completed form to Khristian Curry at currykj@dhec.sc.gov by June 24, 2021
